Affirming Baptists is a UK network of Baptist Christians, founded in 2000.
Our purpose is threefold:
- to give pastoral support and affirmation to lesbian and gay Christians
- to work towards the wider acceptance of faithful, loving same-sex relationships through engaging in the current debates in the churches on issues of sexuality
- in doing so, to embody and express the all-embracing love of Christ.
